He has worked closely with CPA practices throughout this journey, gaining deep insight into their operational challenges, compliance requirements, and talent expectations, which has shaped the firm’s service model and delivery standards.
Deepak Malhotra holds academic qualifications in Law (LLB, LLM) and a Master’s degree in Finance and Marketing, providing a strong foundation in regulatory frameworks, financial strategy, and business governance. This multidisciplinary education has shaped his analytical thinking, compliance awareness, and strategic approach to building professional service organizations.
He has consistently invested significant time and effort in adopting new technologies and implementing them across the organisation to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and performance monitoring. Technology-driven workflow systems, productivity tracking mechanisms, and controller-based oversight structures were introduced under his leadership to ensure work accuracy, accountability, and measurable outcomes for clients. This operational discipline has enabled the firm to maintain quality while scaling teams and services for CPA firms and accounting practices globally.
His current leadership focus is built around two key pillars: strengthening business promotion and digital brand presence, and building high-quality talent capabilities within the organisation. He actively works on enhancing the digital footprint and global positioning of The Fino Partners while also working closely with CPA firms and accounting practices to improve their operational efficiency and digital presence, helping them attract and retain clients more effectively.
On the talent side, he has established a structured recruitment ecosystem supported by a team of more than 30 recruitment professionals. A rigorous multi-stage hiring methodology—covering technical evaluation, cognitive assessment, and cultural alignment—ensures that only qualified and compatible accounting professionals join client engagements.
